MAURIZIO CROCCO MArch PhD

CEO and Co-founder of Archabout, Maurizio is an architect and academic with a longstanding career in research developed in the fields of architectural design, urban design at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and at the university of Naples “Federico II”. He is involved in activities of Study, Research and Didactic Seminar since 1990. The main topics of his professional and research activity are focused on the principles of ecological design: the relations between architecture and town, the dynamics of transformation, the identity and exploitation of historical specificity and European urban realities, environmental design, sustainable building design.
ANDREA MONETA MArch PhD FHEA PGCAP
Co-Founder
Andrea Moneta is a trans-disciplinary practitioner and academic, working both as an architect and a scenographer. He has a particular interest in exploring the intersection between Heritage, scenography and architecture through a methodology that he called ‘Scenarchitecture’ and is actively involved in researching and teaching in these areas. He developed a personal approach to research, design and management of physical and relational space, including urban and digital built environment. Research lead and senior lecturer of Design for Stage and Screen at Nottingham Trent University (UK), he is an associate member of SBTD (Society of British Theatre Designers), of The Thoroton Society of Nottinghgamshire and of Associazione Italiana Scenografi e Costumisti (Italian Association of Set and Costume Designers).
